Path Construction /Maintenance tasks include the laying stone paths, improving path drainage and difficult to climb replacing stiles with accessible gates. This work improves the accessibility of nature reserves, enabling substantially more people from the community to enjoy these spaces, including those who are less able-bodied throughout the Solihull area. The laying of hard surface paths not only makes them able to be used all year by a wide section of the local community but also reduces the widening and damage to the edges of the path by people avoiding puddles and mud that form in poorly constructed and drained paths.
